About us
The innovations of SAM® go back to Heinz Mack, a dentist in Munich. The occasion was courses on functional theory. A very stable centric articulator with adjustable guides was required for anatomical model assembly. This gave rise to the concept for the modular device with the project name SAM® (= School Articulator Munich), which was further developed into a fully adjustable articulator system a few years later.
The AXIOGRAPH® with the AXIOTRON® electronic add-on device and the non-contact AXIOQUICK® recorder are very well known. But many other products in the dental market can be traced back to the development work of SAM®.
Florian Mack took over as Managing Director in 2012 and, with this succession, opened a new chapter in the company's history towards the future. With the new digital products AxioPrisa and AxioSnapMount, a unique product was created.

For this reason, we produce all parts in Germany. This is a fluid process and we work every day to optimize our workflow.
We source our raw materials from verified traders and work hand in hand with them to save even more greenhouse gases.
